Our studio accommodates only one group per day, offering an exclusive and completely private sanctuary. You will never encounter other guests during your visit. To maintain this serene and personal atmosphere, each reservation permits entry for the guest and up to one accompanying companion.

Under Japanese law and for security purposes, we are required to take a quick copy of your passport on the day. Thank you for your cooperation.

Kimono Garment Sizing

A Note on Kimono Sizing

Authentic Tsumugi is a traditional, hand-woven Japanese textile, and each piece has unique, fixed dimensions. To ensure your absolute comfort and the most elegant silhouette, we may recommend modifying your selection to an alternative design or a larger size depending on your measurements on the day.

Service Plan [ KAZE ]

The Authentic Tsumugi Experience
1 Guest : 140,000 JPY (+ tax)

A 5-hour package that includes kimono hire (with all necessary accessories), professional dressing assistance, and leisurely free time.

The process includes 1 hour for kimono dressing, 3.5 hours of outdoor free time, and 30 minutes to change after coming back to our studio.

Service Plan [ MIYABI ]

The Authentic Tsumugi Experience + Mini Kaiseki & Rare Sake Pairing
Pricing : 170,000 JPY for 1 guest / 332,000 JPY for 2 guests (+ tax)

A 5-hour package that includes kimono hire (with all necessary accessories), professional dressing assistance, a pre-paid taxi card for seamless round-trip travel to the restaurant, and your meal.

The package comprises 1.5 hours for dressing, 1 hour for the return journey, 2 hours for the meal, and 30 minutes to return to the studio and change back into your own clothes.

Important Note on Dining

To fully appreciate the daily seasonal creation by a highly artisan chef and their tailored sake pairings, the menu is fixed and curated exclusively for the day. Please kindly inform us of any food allergies upon reservation. After your meal, you will return to our studio to change out of your kimono.

* Please note that we cannot accommodate personal dietary preferences, vegetarian/vegan requests, or ingredient changes on the day.

* As we will check the restaurant’s availability,, this is a ‘provisional booking’ at this stage. We will contact you within few days to confirm your booking or to discuss any changes to the date.

* You can add a companion who will only be taking part in the sake pairing experience as an optional extra.

Gratuity and Service Charge

All service charges and restaurant dining costs are fully included in the package price. In accordance with Japanese custom, tipping is neither required nor expected. Your appreciation and a simple "Gochisousama" (thank you for the meal) to the chef are the best rewards.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards. Full advance payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Security Deposit
Refundable Security Deposit : 60,000 JPY per person (Credit card hold upon arrival)

* About the Security Deposit

To ensure the preservation of our rare and delicate genuine silk garments, we kindly request a fully refundable security deposit of 60,000 JPY at the time of your arrival.

Similar to a luxury hotel check-in, this amount will be placed as a temporary hold on your credit card. Upon your return, following a brief visual inspection of the garment, this authorization will be cancelled immediately, resulting in zero balance or cost to you.

Depending on the nature of the damage (such as stains from foundation, wine, mud splatters, or blood) or in cases of significant damage, you may be charged for the actual cost of repairs.

Cancellation Fees

Within 3 days of the reserved date, or no-shows : Within 3 days of the reserved date, or no-shows.

4 to 7 days prior to the reserved date : 50% of the total fee.

8 days or more prior to the reserved date : Free cancellation.

Arrival Delay

Because we arrange a professional dressing master exclusively for your schedule, please contact us immediately if you expect to be late.

Unannounced Delays : If you are late by 15 minutes or more without prior notice, your reservation may be treated as a no-show, and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Shortened Experience : If you arrive late, your outdoor stroll or photography session may be shortened to maintain the studio's schedule. No partial refunds will be provided.

Return Delay

Please ensure you return to the studio by your scheduled time to change out of the garment.

If you expect to be late, please contact us immediately. A late return fee of 10,000 JPY (+ tax) per 30 minutes may be charged to cover the extended availability of our studio and staff.

Weather & Safety Policy

Typhoons & Heavy Rain

For the safety of our guests and the preservation of our Tsumugi kimono, the experience may be cancelled at our studio's discretion in the event of severe weather (such as typhoons or torrential rain). In such cases, we will notify you via email by 12:00 PM (JST) the day before your reservation, and a 100% full refund will be issued.

Extreme Heat or Cold

In cases of extreme heat or severe cold, to ensure your comfort, the outdoor walk may be modified to an exclusive indoor experience. We would like to offer a complimentary photo shoot at your luxury hotel. No refunds will apply for this alternative arrangement.

Eligible Accommodations for In-Room Dressing

To ensure a seamless, high-quality dressing experience and to preserve the pristine condition of our silk garments, we only offer this service at 4- or 5-star luxury hotels, boutique hotels, or high-end ryokans In Tokyo.

Please note the following restrictions :

Minimum Space Requirement : The guest room must have a minimum space of 30 square meters (approx. 320 sq ft) to allow our professional master to dress you properly.

Excluded Accommodations : We do not offer services at budget hotels (business hotels), hostels, Airbnb/short-term rentals, or shared group rooms (dormitories/large shared guest rooms).
